Repent and Receive Times of Refreshing

“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord…” – Acts 3:19

Repentance isn’t so much about turning away from our sin, but rather more about the ONE to whom you are turning. ONLY GOD can wipe out—remove, obliterate, forgive, and forget—our sins. No amount of your own abilities, willpower, self-righteousness, or behavior modifications will ever accomplish what only the Blood of Jesus can.

Its time for us to stop carrying the burden of every sin Jesus already died for. Its time for us to begin overcoming our sins by placing our eyes on the ONE who overcame sin—and its punishment, death.

Its time for us to receive “times of refreshing!”
