Jesus is Not Seeking Decisions, But Disciples

The “Great Commission”—found in the 28th chapter of Gospel of Matthew—is a personal and imperative directive from Jesus Christ.

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
– Jesus (Matthew 28:18ff)

My prayer is that these words from Jesus would stir our hearts to passionately pursue God’s will with reckless abandon. That we may be given grace to demonstrate authentic discipleship—denying ourselves, laying down our lives, and following in obedience to Jesus.

Lord, empower us today to fulfill your Great Commission!

In Christ,
Pastor Ken
