The “New Thing” of the Spirit

God is birthing something new in His Church, that is really not new at all. There is an outpouring of the Holy Spirit that is manifesting in this hour—it is the Kingdom of God in manifest power. This is a new visitation as a fresh wind of the Spirit preparing to blow.

This current season is a time of preparation, to prepare the way of the Lord and to remove all stumbling blocks—including the patterns and systems of the past. The outpouring of this “new thing” is awaiting a new wineskin—renewed vessels, prepared to follow the elusive presence of the Holy Spirit.

For we have not walked this way or know the twists and turns of this path, this is a NEW thing. We should be careful not to be presumptuous at this late hour; for the Spirit of the Lord is building a house that is not made by hands. It is not developed through programs or the innovations of our finite understanding, but rather through His Presence and our persistent willingness to be led by the Holy Spirit—who will lead us into all truth.

The name and majesty of Jesus Christ will be glorified. The presence of God will be made manifest at the mentioning of His name and many demonstrations of power and mighty miracles will follow the preaching of Jesus Christ and the gospel of the soon-coming Kingdom of God.

The Creator God—who spoke all things into existence, out of complete nothingness—is creating an originative work. This fresh move of God will not be established by carnal might or power, but by His Spirit. Thus our labor will be in vain unless the Lord builds the house.

Prepare your heart for what the Lord is about to do, ask the Great I AM to renew you from the inside out by the power of the Holy Spirit. Let the presence of the Lord consume you, restoring your faith and empowering you to take action for His Kingdom. May you be filled with great boldness, and be led by the Spirit of Christ in all things!
